Rebuild - Part 1

Figured that I would just make a quick update on the progress has its been a while since I last updated the blog. Car is still sitting at home and nothing has been done still...as I am still waiting for my pistons. Hope that I am able to receive it in about 6 weeks time and thereafter commence the bottom end rebuild. Starting from a fresh block as the current one is already at its max bore, unless I sleeve it. Also since I will be doing full rebuild, thought I might as well change my clutch, although the current Exedy with organic plate one is still pretty good. This is because I am getting the entire rotating assembly dynamically balanced and do not want to disturb the balance when I change clutch. So hopefully a new clutch will eliminate this issue for a while. Getting the same clutch again as its grip is pretty good and doesnt judder during takeoff...also that it lasted 4 track days...

Also thinking of changing to the Mythelogy LCP with the rubber damper, as Fluidamper do not make one for the 4G93 engines. For EVO engine they have got some models...other than that dont have.

Also received my water injection kit, thats something else that needs to be hooked up along with a few other accessory. I am going a bit mad this time, and also have purchased a 6 point Safety21 roll cage, which I probably install after the rebuild is done.

Will update more when time permits....

wont forget one, always in my head, but not enough resources to do both project together.

still contemplating whether to go haltech managed, ITB, fuel injected A+ engine or drop in a VTEC - for the skunk of course.

Muahahah.. i always loved the sound of the B18C and they are loads around since the honda boys have moved to the K20A. Might be cheaper and easier to maintain in the long run.

Then again, if you are a traditionist then nothing but the deep growl of the webbers will do.

Sigh.. so many choiches...
